Passive Fire Works in 2025

Project Overview

In 2025, we completed an array of passive fire protection works across multiple areas of the hospital. These works were carefully planned and delivered to suit the needs of a busy healthcare setting.

We have a long standing relationship with this client and continue to support them in maintaining compliance with UK fire safety regulations. Our experienced engineers worked around hospital operations to ensure disruption to patients, staff, and visitors was kept to an absolute minimum, while still delivering high quality, compliant fire protection solutions throughout the site.

Annual Damper Testing 

We deployed a team of two engineers to complete drop tests on up to 692 fire dampers across the hospital. They tested and reset all fire dampers and recorded every pass and fail with full accuracy. Where a damper required remedial works to achieve compliance our engineers clearly identified this so the hospital had a precise overview of what was needed to stay safe and in line with Fire Safety Regulations.

Fire Stopping Works 

Fire stopping all breaches within the basement walls and the ceiling, we made sure each gap was sealed to maintain the compartmentation of the space.
