Fire Risk Assessment
What is it?
UK law requires all businesses and non-domestic buildings to carry out a fire risk assessment, to ensure the safety of people in or around the building, under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (commonly known simply as the Fire Safety Order).
It is the responsibility of a designated ‘responsible person’ or ‘duty holder’ to ensure a risk assessment has been completed.
At AWB & Sons, we are certified fire risk assessors – accredited by the Fire Risk Assessors Certification Scheme. Working with us, you can be assured we have shown due diligence and will deliver an assessment which fully meets all requirements.
Many businesses cannot recover following a major fire; but this doesn’t have to be the case. Our risk assessments are transparent, provide you with a clear and well-directed plan and provide the vital step in ensuring the safety of your buildings. We’ll also reflect any changes to the occupancy or activities within premises, since the last assessment.
