Fire Damper Testing & Remedials 

Since January this year, we have been proud to work alongside ASAP Fire, delivering expert testing and remediation services across 45 housing sites throughout the UK.

Our strong working relationship enables us to provide efficient, bespoke passive fire protection solutions tailored to their unique requirements.

A key part of our work involved the testing and remediation of fire dampers.

We meticulously built an asset list for every site, detailing the number of dampers and their locations. This level of detail had not previously been documented and now provides a complete record for ongoing maintenance and compliance.

At one of these sites, Lawley Bank, we managed the project from start to finish.

Our team carried out a wide range of fire damper works, including:

• Fire stopping around dampers
• Removal and replacement of defective dampers
• Testing and resetting of dampers
• Electrical surveys on BMS-connected dampers

We successfully completed

Our team completed remedial works on fifteen dampers, resolving all identified issues efficiently and safely.
