He’s an expert in fire safety, with qualifications as a fire door surveyor and fire stopper. Elliot’s broad technical knowledge and understanding make him a reliable source of support and guidance to both his team and clients alike.

General Manager

Meet Rachel, Our Experienced General Manager Rachel joined our team in April 2022 and has since taken on the role of General Manager. With a background in management within the fire protection and water treatment industries, Rachel brings over 10 years of experience to the table. Her key responsibilities include overseeing the overall management of our company including marketing, human resources, accreditations and training. Rachel is passionate about ensuring that our business continues to flourish as an industry-leading compliance consultancy, delivering quality services with happy team members.

Operations Supervisor

Meet Dan our operations supervisor, with his past experience working for AWB, Dan already has great knowledge and skills. Dan was previously an elite swimming coach and recently was a coach for Great Britain. Dans sport and coaching background means he is committed and a team player, which are great attributes that he brings to the team. 

Lead Engineer

Meet Matt Sommerville, one of our esteemed lead fire protection engineers. Since joining our team in August 2022, he has been an integral part of our company. Prior to his time with us, Matt held a managerial position in retail, allowing him to bring outstanding customer service and team-working skills to his role. As a site-based engineer, Matt specialises in fire stopping and has worked diligently to earn his level 2 NVQ fire stopping, IPAF, and PASMA qualifications, making him a valuable asset to AWB.

Office Administrations Assistant

Meet Beth our office administrations assistant, she will be working full-time from the office to support the administrative aspect of the business. Her responsibilities will include assisting the operations manager. Beth is also on completing a Level 3 Human Resources Apprenticeship with AWB.

Engineering Apprentice

Meet Harry our Engineering Apprentice. His apprenticeship programme will cover carpentry, electrical, plumbing, decorating and the critical aspects of health and safety in the workplace. Harry’s active involvement in both cricket, where he represents the Yorkshire under-16s squad, and rugby highlights his ability to work well with a team and shows his unwavering dedication and commitment. These qualities not only make him a valuable asset but also means he contributes greatly to our team dynamic.

IT Manager

Meet Matt our IT manager. Based in our Dinnington office, Matt has shown exceptional enthusiasm and commitment to his job role already. With over twenty years of IT experience and over five years in the compliance sector, Matt brings invaluable expertise in leadership and process development, enhancing our team significantly.

Engineer

Meet Archie one of our engineers. With past qualifications such as A-Levels in engineering and business studies Archie has great knowledge in this field, which helps him thrive in his job here at AWB. Archie has good team work and commitment, which makes him a great member of our team.

Operations Assistant

Meet Rich our operations assistant. Rich is a competitive swimmer, who competed in the rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 games. Rich also has a degree in Psychology. His background in sport has given him great attributes such as commitment, discipline and resilience, which makes him a great asset to the team.

Meet Habib, a recent addition to our engineering team. He has previous qualifications in engineering, business studies, and design technology, which helps him thrive with his job at AWB. Additionally, he has successfully finished the fire and smoke damper survey and inspection course, this makes Habib a great asset to our team.
